Could any other restaurant get away with a compulsory staff hair cut? We're not sure, but this buzzy and fun destination is where the cool kids go for beef noodle soup. With huge windows and comfortable chairs, you can snack away in style. Try their leaning towers of shaved ice smothered with sweet toppings.

Despite its Italian moniker, Bellagio has some of the best Taiwanese food in Beijing. The restaurant offers extensive dinner and desert menus and, with large windows and dance music playing in the background, provides an exciting, party atmosphere. I suggest diners to explore anything that looks interesting on the menu. My personal favorites include the pork dumplings in a spicy sauce, the beef on iron plate, the Malaysian broad noodles, the Chinese broccoli, and the world-class mabo dofu.

While I consistently crave the food at Bellagio, I am always dismayed when I enter the restaurant, for I am immediately reminded of the persistent cigarette smoke and the lack of customer service. While it’s hard to keep a server’s attention at any Beijing restaurant, it always seems more challenging at Bellagio. Perhaps it’s the loud music or the conversations emanating from the closely-positioned tables, but the inattentiveness hampers the dining experience. On two occasions, I waited over twenty minutes just to receive a glass of ping shway.

The dessert offerings, however, convince me to forgive the restaurant’s weak service. Diners can choose from a range of ice deserts with sweet-bean and fresh fruit toppings, ice-cream smoothies, puddings, and flan. Don’t retreat to usual favorites such as the chocolate mousse or soufflé (these I believe are the weakest deserts). I suggest you go for the leaning towers of ice or the fresh fruit options. While I can only voice a few grievances about Bellagio, there is plenty to enjoy at this eatery, and once you get a taste of the food, I am sure it will become a perennial favorite.

The food is very authentic (according to my native Taiwanese friend). I really enjoyed the mango ice desserts.

I agree that the service is lacking, but it's no worse than most local Beijing eateries.

Ok, yes the smoking thing bothers me. They really do need to make a separate section. That said, the food has never disappointed. Everything I've ever eaten here (and I come to both branches of this restaurant pretty frequently) is absolutely delicious. Besides, can you really give a place that serves bubble tea AND amazing meter-high deserts a bad rating? As for the service - yelling "fuwuyuan" loudly has never failed. Come on, it's China!

This is the place to go for noodles in the wee hours. Yes, the service is not the best in town, but then again, I've never, ever been there when it wasn't completely packed. I am ashamed at my own cigarette habit, so I do feel terrible for all the non-smokers who don't have their own section at Bellagio, but given the location in the Gongti nightclub-hub and the decidedly late-night, predominantly Chinese clientele, I imagine that the establishment might lose business if they were to limit the smoking.

In spite of everything, it's those succulent noodles that keep me going back again and again.

Service is ok but I'm always disappointed by the food. I find it resembles mall Chinese food ladled out of big metal pans onto rice more than it does authentic Taiwanese food. The Ma Po tofu's got no kick, the XO noodles are drowning in their own bland grease. Price is decent.

But I will say they make the best pi dan dou fu in the city with century egg, rou song, peanuts and tasty sauce. And the desserts are pretty good.

And they also should turn down those lights. Especially the one at this location. It's rough on the eyeballs going from a dark club to a dark night to Bellagio's retina-searing radioactive bulbs. It was so bad our group left after sitting for five minutes (and getting no service) around 3am.

i think this resto is one of the places in beijing for a 'to see and be seen' experience. once u walked in to the resto, people will stare at u from head to toe and once u sat down, its your turn to observe the city's beautiful people.

good to excellent food! love the three cup chicken, shrimp and pineapple with mayonnaise, cha shao rice and some vegetables dishes that if forgot what it's called. anyway, their shaved ice are a must-try. especially the famous tall beans shaved ice (again i dont know what its called in chinese, i usually just point at the picture on the menu). some other shaved ice are really nice too. good milkshake!!! good, friendly and attentive service. i go here pretty often so i know some of the fuwuyuans and they always very nice. 24 hours. thats good. been here during lunch hour and mostly in the evening, but this place always packed! so yea... 5 stars from me.

This place is my go-to spot. Never good for me, but always ordered is the Taiwanese Stewed Fatty Pork - melty in your mouth goodness, great over white rice. Other favorites include the Tofu Claypot, Dragon Bean (Long Dou), Sweet Taro Soup or any of their iced delights for dessert. Big plus - open until 5am and next to Gongti's mega clubs. A perfect place to nip a morning hangover in the bud.
