This quaint little tea house serves Chinese tea with the tea ceremony ritual right out of a movie. Order some dumpling snacks that are hand-made everyday, some of them are filled with tea leaves. It's a good date what with a movie theater just next door.
I stumbled upon this gem when a friend invited me there to talk business.
The owner, by far the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in Beijing, looks exactly like Zhang Zi Yi. (Rumor has it she is actually her acting double!)
When you order chinese tea, she will bring the tea to your table and personally conduct the Gongfu Chinese Tea Ceremony (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gongfu_tea_ceremony) for you, and explain for you the importance of each step. If you've watched Red Cliff 2, you will already have some understanding of how it works.
She recommended their dumplings, which they hand make everyday, and have tea leaves in them. I ate about two dozen!! Not to be missed!!
After our meeting, she gave us a tour - downstairs there are also some private rooms, one with a boardroom sized table for team offsites, and two with couches for a more romantic/private touch.
I have since gone back several times and brought my girlfriend there to enjoy the tea and learn the basics of Chinese tea. Next door there's a movie theater so its also a great first stop on a date!!!
