A restaurant filled with low lighting, an abundance of polished wood and a friendly wait staff that serves up decent renditions of Thai foods. The chicken with red curry and sweet sticky mango rice are must-eats. Perfect for a mellow Thai pit stop.

Low lighting, an abundance of polished wood and the enthusiastic (but not overly fussy) attentions of the pleasant young wait staff advertise this new addition to Beijing’s burgeoning Thai scene as a serious dining stop. Luckily, Jimmy’s food largely measures up to the restaurant’s ambitions. A serving of deep-fried minced shrimp with a mango side salad (¥48) proved a tangy delight (even if the shrimp was a tad under seasoned), while the chicken in red curry sauce (¥38), the meal’s high point, doused the palate in exquisite flavor. Deep-fried chicken wrapped in banana leaves (¥32) fell a bit short of the mark, but were soon forgotten following a tasty plate of sweet sticky rice with mango (¥18). -Matt Schrader

Jimmy's Royal Thai Cuisine(占美) is a romantic place to taste the Thai cuisine, so, it is a good place for couples. The chef has served Thai upper-class for many years, that's why he takes seriously about the materials.
