This simple eatery serves up organic vegetarian food and prides itself on all things au naturelle. Decked out in beige fabric, folding chairs and floral wallpaper, you'll find everything from rice wrapper spring rolls to spicy bean curd. The only drawback is that the English menu is limited.

the above comments seem to be frankly idiotic - it is clear that iit is a veggie restaurant (the name helps!!) so why expect meat?? agree about the over-zealous staff but the food is ok (39 is a fair price a buffet including hotpot option - how much is hat usually?) It could be a bit more inspired and the soups are too watery but worth a lunchtime visit

Last weekend we had spend some time here and we had begun (Friday)with a buffet here. For chinese persons this food is okay. There are lot of breakfast items here like the lido congee etc.For girls or ladies this is okay ,but for the man we need good meat especially for the young man chinese.
There were good mushrooms and we ate mushrooms ,rice and vegetables.
I would expect in 39 rmb they could have given some meat options -but oh! its a veg restaurant.
Not suitable for chinese man!! this restaurant.(specially the buffet)

Mysteriously, this place attracts a lot of patrons and seems to cover 2/3 of the Solana food court. An all you can eat vegetarian buffet is offered for 39 in the evenings, including a small hotpot to cook veggies by yourself.
For me, being a carnivore, this place is not an option to go again, but this is not because of the lack of meat but because of the uninspired and not very tasty dishes.
Maybe ordering ala carte is an option, but i doubt it when reading the comment above.

Veg Off
The moment we were within 50 meters of Veg-On’s front door an overzealous waiter started on his hard sell to usher us inside. The limited English menu, strange hodge-podge interior of billowing beige fabric, folding chairs, and oversized floral-print wallpaper should have been clues for the meal to come. To start, a lemon honey juice (¥18) was lukewarm and had the gelatinous consistency of baby food. A waffle with honey (¥22) was fresh and warm, but undermined by a side of corn syrup instead of honey. Mint spring rolls (¥28) were passable, but nothing more than salad in rice wrapper. The spicy bean curd (¥42) was the one dish we came close to finishing, yet was expensive for what is standard fare at other Chinese spots. We had high hopes for our closing dish of fried sweet potato (¥38), but sides of ketchup and condensed milk did nothing for the overly sweet, under-fried snack.
