This studio is the place to go if you are interested in a Chinese-style tattoo. It's founder, Xiaodong Zhou (aka. Dong Dong) draws much of his inspiration from aspects of Chinese traditional culture, from brush painting to fairytales. Sessions cost RMB800-1,500 per hour. Occasionally, Mummy Tattoo also hosts artists from abroad such as Germany, Australia and Italy.
This tattoo studio is run by Dongdong and another tattoo artist, Maomao. Maomao took about two days to design the tattoo, which I later confirmed. Because of my hypoglycemia, I felt dizzy and the staff was kind enough to give me chocolate and coca cola. The outcome was exactly what I wanted. Just remember to make a reservation about two weeks in advance.
