City Weekend Review

Fuel the Fire

Langham Place’s sports bar and club, Fuel, has real potential to become a prime night spot for the Shunyi set. From expat families to business travelers, this bar caters to a wide clientele—both because of and in spite of its proximity to Terminal 3. Its posh décor is peppered with contemporary Chinese art. Kick back with an expertly mixed martini at the bar, quaff Champagne on the patio or order some Chivas in the private KTV room. The “Fuel Me Up Baby” (¥80) specialty cocktail is a sweet drink—whether you’re with your date or just waiting for your date’s plane to land.
