I never would have expected this place right on the side of Chaoyang Theater! 5+ stars for ambiance. Sitting at the bar in the comfortable leather seats and listening to Japanese being spoken all around me, I felt like I had wandered into a Murakami novel. However, I was fairly disappointed with my mojito -- next time I'd stick to the whiskey.

Perfectly made cocktails, great selection, not excessively priced, quiet and intimate atmosphere, attentive staff, friendly owner.

Nice spot for a quiet drink, very intimate and hence a good place to bring that special someone. There's an attentive and friendly staff who can mix a mean mojito or lychee martine (with fresh lychee!). It's dimly lit, and with the music as a pleasant whisper in the background I found the atmosphere just right.
