This unique Sanlitun lounge transforms the metal mesh décor of its Opposite House hotel environs into a sleek yet comfortable launching pad for a night out. With a subdued electronic soundtrack and masterly mixed drinks, Mesh is an ideal location for intoxicating cocktails and conversation.
The Opposite House's flagship nightspot is already a fixture on the cocktail scene.
Mix, Mesh, Mingle
Mesh is a laid back city-crowd bar located in The Opposite House boutique hotel. Inspired by the prominent metal mesh room dividers and windows screens integral to the design, it’s a place where people can mesh and mingle. Stylish, low-to-the-ground leather sofas bring groups closer together. The music is loungy, which matches the muted surroundings, allowing the focus to be on people and conversation. Large glass walls, also break down the barriers between the interior space and the city outside. Beer starts at ¥40 and long drinks start ¥60. Bartenders are casual, attentive and swiftly mix great standard drinks as well Mesh’s signature cocktails. Mesh features one of the best city happy hours for single young professionals from 7pm-11pm every Thursday; the two-for-one drink specials have quickly earned Mesh its reputation as one of the city’s hottest lounges. Mesh closes at midnight, so it’s a sleek, comfortable and efficient place to start a night out on the town. If you can’t leave the Opposite House at midnight, head downstairs to Punk, the sister dance club downstairs.
