This Irish-themed pub features a classic dark wood bar, plethora of Jameson, and comfortable Emerald Isle booths and wooden chairs. The beer list boasts over a dozen imports, and they have a simple menu of standard Dublin pub fare.
Irish Charm
Located where Swensen’s used to be, this Irish pub has everything expected of a Chinese-owned, Emerald Isle bar. Staff are friendly and eager, and service is quick. We’re told the sound system is being replaced, and we hope they swap the blaring Beyonce tunes with something more culturally relevant. The James Joyce’s mixed drinks (¥40) are strong, but it’s the decent beer list most drinkers are after. There are an impressive 21 bottled brews and five on tap. After a few of these you’ll be jabbering in stream of consciousness, too. ■ Lauren Johnson
