Haiku is still open, but the club in Block 8 is currently closed
This sleek, entertainment multiplex houses sushi house Haiku, Thai-style lounge and club Ruby Khi and rooftop patio The Beach. Occasionally hosting a marquee international DJ act, Block 8 works as a solid club space but is on most days a relaxed, chill bar and restaurant.

This place looks great, with a very high-end feeling to its interior. The clientel when I was here was a mixture of westerners, rich chinese sugerdaddies and local hipsters.
Regarding the music, I cannot say to much about the place in general but when Acupuncture records are playing here this place is a marvel! I have not had as much fun in a long time as I had here.
And let us not forget the magic weapon: Free water! (at least I got it...)
The only thing preventing me from a shelling out another 5 star was the crowd which was sort of stiff.
I am no doubt going back here.

A great, spacious club with outdoor views, a great atmosphere and everything you would need for a splurge. Waiters and waitresses are friendly and capable, bar staff are experienced. A fun place to go.

Fantastic food and great drinks in a really sharp-looking venue. Not exactly what I'd call a "music-driven" vibe, but I've actually only heard great music there, courtesy of DJ Kai and the highly enjoyable Funk Shui parties.

This place can be your regular if you have a good wallet. Everything goes well for this place. Good crowd on weekends, good music, great vibes ,the drinks are expensive if you compare with other bars, but good still.
