The first aquarium in Beijing is home to 7,800 sq. meters of undersea world and Asia's longest (120 meters) undersea walk. It features mini-lectures on marine life on weekends and 20 exhibition tanks filled with sharks, eels, piranhas and even endangered species.
Beijing Richina Underwater World is the first five-star grade aquarium in Beijing. It is located in the bottom of the lake in Beijing Worker's Stadium and possesses the longest acrylic tunnel in the Asia. Over 6000 species of marine creatures can be found here from alll over the world. We have more than 20 different exhibition tanks filled with three-meter-long sharks, beautiful eels, fierce piranhas, lobsters, hippocampus, starfish and other invertebrates. What is more is that you even can see some endangered marine species.
