The newest addition to the 400-year old Dulwich name from London, Dulwich College Beijing follows the tradition of placing strong emphasis not only on academic excellence, but also on sports and performance. The school aims to provide students with a well-rounded environment to grow, develop and to learn. Friends of Dulwich Beijing (FoDB) promotes close interaction with the parental community and there are strong links with sister schools in Shanghai and Suzhou (scheduled to open in August 2007). Requiring high proficiency in English, DCB expects graduates to be able to gain entry to any good university where instruction is in English. Extracurricular activities include a wide range of clubs and activities, with emphasis on performance and sports. There are also facilities such as science labs, computer rooms, art suites, a theater, recording studios, music practice rooms, a sports hall, swimming pool, tennis courts and a golf driving range.
