Providing Beijing's expatriate community with outstanding quality education across a broad spectrum ranging from early childhood to senior secondary education, the school offers a distinctive education programme. The Yew Chung International Curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and leads to the Cambridge based IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and pre-university, two year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. With over 800 students from 40 nationalities, YCIS Beijing, an IB World School, has been in operation since 1995. The school is a part of the Yew Chung Education Foundation that also runs schools in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Qingdao in China and Silicon Valley in the United States.
