Founded in 2005, Mammolina is different from your typical Montessori institution. Providing a learning environment infused with mutual respect, freedom and self-discipline, students are divided into multi-aged groups, allowing them to interact with children of all ages thereby enhancing the learning process. Facilities include an outdoor playground, a multi-lingual library, and a second-storey balconey through which parents will be able to observe their tiny tots at work and at play for as long as they wish. Meanwhile, a bilingual program is also available, as well as door-to-door bus services, and various extracurricular activities such as violin and ballet.
'Functioning in a uniquely integrated environment, offering multi-age classrooms, Mammolina is different, even from other Montessori institutions. Founded in 2005, Mammolina believes that the interaction of different-aged children is central and essential to the process of learning. Multi-age grouping creates a community in which children take responsibilities for themselves, for others and for the school environment. While respect is a characteristic of Montessori education, Mammolina offers a learning environment that is free and invites self-discipline. The provision of a second-storey balcony allows pre-arranged observations by parents for as long as they wish. Mammolina offers a bilingual English-Chinese program. There is also an outdoor playground and library with volumes in English, Italian, French, Chinese, and other languages. Extracurricular activities include programs such as violin and ballet. For the safety and convenience of children, door-to-door bus service is also provided.
