Redesigned by local architect Chen Xuan, the reopened UCCA store not only offers the cutting-edge fashions from Chinese designers (¥700-2,000), as well as hand-made bags (about ¥300-600) made by women from the Shanxi countryside. The new inner room stocks limited edition engravings, photos and sculptures from renowned Chinese contemporary artists.
As an intricate part of UCCA, the UCCASTORE aligns with the centers’ mission in creating an open platform for the public, where visitors have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of what encompasses contemporary art in China.
From Limited Edition, China Design original design products, merchandise and art books, the UCCASTORE provides China’s most cutting-edge artworks while simultaneously bringing Chinese contemporary art to the daily life of the public through its diversified product range.
