The advertisement in City Weekend Magazine offered 24-hour preparation of suits, so I decided to give it a try. When I got to the store, the ladies working there hovered over me and pressured me into making a selection as quickly as possible, annoying me repeatedly to buy more suits. When I finally had my order ready, I asked them when I should come the next day to pick it up (it is next day service, after all!). But they said I would have to come back in four days, and that was just for fitting. So, as they told me, I came back in four days. Then, I found it would be another six days to make the final alterations! So, 24 hours became 10 days! Finally, when I went to go pick it up today (they called me yesterday to say that it was ready). They didn't have the suit and said I would have to come pick it up later tonight. I don't even know what the quality of the suits will be like (by the way, I paid 1000 RMB per suit for those who want bargaining guidance, though I'm sure you could get it cheaper if you tried hard). After wasting all of this time, they said they were "sorry" and offered me a free tie. Big whoop. Go somewhere else to get your suits!

Their previous good reviews have really gone to their head; they have poor poor service, are price gouging, and probably (though I can't say for sure as I have decided to not use their services for the reasons below) 1. no longer accepting fabric that you bring from elsewhere (they're already in over their heads with work with in-house fabrics, apparently) 2. price gouging - i asked today what a simple cotton shirt would cost and they said 200RMB 3. poor service - i walked in and waited 15 minutes for service, and that was because i actually called to the fuwuyuan. one was chatting on the phone and the other two were chatting with each other. when i asked her about the shirt, she was just like - simple, we can't do too complicated. i asked if i could bring in a picture and she repeated the same answer. she just looked up from her conversation and answered my questions in an annoyed fashion, as if she was annoyed at my interrupting her chat. she refused to budge on the obviously overpriced quote for the shirts, and i just walked away, very much much convinced that they didn't want my business (and they probably didn't, with all the western expats walking in and paying inflated prices and buying tons of suits)
