sorry for the ignorance but what is a fixed gear? how is it any different from an ordinary mountain bike?

Have you watched the Olympic track cycling events? That is the bike we ride. It is not a mountainbike at all. The bikes have no gears and no brakes.

hi jehey, well fixed gear simply refers to the type of gear we have on the bike. it could be a road bike or a mountain bike. however, the only difference is that, we ride with one gear and only one, and it's fixed, meaning no cruising. you pedal as long as you're moving and the bike stops, when you stop. no brakes. feel free to ride with us.
