They are Beijing's only western-style ballroom dance club with weekly free dance at the Sino-Chu Wine Bar & Restaurant. Dancers of all skill levels welcome. Private dance instruction also available for individuals and groups.

The Beijing Ballroom Dance Club has resumed holding its WEEKLY SATURDAY DANCE PARTIES at the Sino-Chu Wine Bar*. (We also teach basic dance classes before our party begins.)

The dance is free, but you must buy a ticket at the door for 30 Rmb which you can use to buy food or drink from the Sino-Chu. We play the best mix of dance music in Beijing: Waltz, Foxtrot, East & West Coast Swing, Rumba, ChaCha, Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango, Disco-Hustle and much more.

Details on our class schedule can be found at the website below. At present, October 2008, we are teaching American social Cha-cha. The additional class fee is only 30 Rmb. The classes are basic/intermediate level and take place Saturday from 7:30-8:30 pm. These are drop-in classes. You pay the fee directly to the teacher on the night of the class.

DIRECTIONS: The Sino-Chu Wine Bar and Restaurant is located at 18 Liangmahe Nanlu (behind the Canadian and Australian embassies). By taxi take the 2nd Ring Road, exit at Dongzhimen, go east. At the 2nd intersection turn left (north). Then immediately turn right as you pass the Pizza Hut. At the end of the quiet tree-lined street you will see red and blue lights. This is it. We're on the 2nd Floor. It's a 15-minute walk from the Dongzhimen subway stop. Call the SinoChu Wine Bar at 8532 2418.
