Play volleyball for fun and make new friends at Beijing Sport and Social Club.
At the Beijing Sport and Social Club, we emphasize the social! We like playing sports, but not too competitively. We like having parties afterwards so we can make friends and have fun. If you think losing can be fun, so long as you don’t spill your beer, then join us. If you think the only thing in life is to win, you’d get frustrated with us—we’ll toast you while we drink our partially spilled beers.
Volleyball Players Players will enjoy sports—but not be too good at them. We’re more interested in having fun than in winning. We find a court, pay our 50 RMB for a couple of hours, and have fun, get some good exercise, and have some dinner and beer after the game.
When and Where We’re playin’ the first Wednesday of every month at 7 pm at the courts at Chaoyang Community College; just a hop, skip and a jump from the Dongzhimen subway station. How’s that sound?
