Water's a bit chilly for just floating about, but just about perfect for swimming laps. The pool was a bit crowded on a Sunday afternoon, but not too overwhelming. There are shallow free swim areas on both sides of the pool (each about a lane and a half wide), with the middle of the pool taken up by lanes. If you're the type who's working on your split time, you'd be best advised to look elsewhere. Any lane you choose, you're going to be sharing with 5-8 other people, and there's no division of lanes by speed or stroke, meaning that there's a bunch of breaststrokers everywhere gumming up the works.
