Smack in the middle of Chaoyang, this ancient Daoist temple complex was resurrected from the dead and is now a true gem. Featuring astonishing statuary representing the bureaus of the dead, it is a true monument to Chinese cosmology. Be sure to check out the photos of the renovation process in the back chambers.
