Description

This section of the Great Wall is one of the few to retain the original features of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall though it is a bit further out of the city than Badaling. It's also known to be a more difficult hike than most people think so go prepared. Head out to Simitai if you have the time and are looking for a more authentic Great Wall experience.
