Description -
Situated in southeastern of Qianmen and the Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heavan was visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to offer prayers for a good harvest and fair weather. The temple is home to a large public park and is quite possibly the greenest place in Beijing. RMB15 entrance fee for the park only, RMB35 entrance fee for the park and the temple.

Magnificent place...after visiting it I really can imagine how grand the ceremony was in the past for the emperors to worship the heaven. A place you should go...highly recommended if you are interested in architectural of ancient china.
