The room looks great. The bathroom is stunning. The drapes are electronic so I couldn't close them when the sun shined in the room, so after an hour, I just forced the drapes by hand. They didn't break :) Then the electrical outlets on the desk were all broken and falling off. I couldn't find the room service menu. It was hidden in a box next to the desk. It looked like a place to store stationary. I called 2 times and everyone keep saying it was on the desk. Very irritating.
Scary part the TV in the bathroom fell.......and was sort of electrocuted by the panels beside the bed whenever push on any switch? Interesting therapy I guess.
We ate at the Coffee shop, there was only one other table taken in the whole restaurant and that table had a LOUD 8 year old kid at it. The seating hostess guides us to the table just next to this table and asked if it was OK. I said "no" and recommended that she seat us at a table on the other side of the restaurant. The wait staff were no where to be found when we needed them either.
The executive floor lounge had a pungent perfume that they were pumping in. I reached behind the sofa and unplugged the pump, but we were still inundated by the smell.

This is the GREATEST NEWS I'm sharing!
From November to March/April, for those wanting to experience the Ritz (either this or the one on east side) at "non-ritz" price, can pay RMB 500 net, no service charge and best of all 2 breakfast.

This should be the last news I post, as I'm heading out from HK.
