Wonderful! I've been to China maybe sixty times; Nanjing, Shanghai, Guanzhou, Hong Kong and many others. My friend says Shanghai feels like Vegas - surface glitz. Hong Kong and Beijing are my favorites. Hong Kong is a great place for a Westerner to sample China and enjoy unique, cosmopolitan Beijing. Beijing feels real, ancient and international. We love the Wanfujing Hotel there. Found 12SqM looking for something else. We had a great night there. Sat in the window, watched the passersby. Chatted with a Scot, an Aussie, a Viginian and a Brit. Great night. Loved the hosts. Best bargain in China hotels I've found is the Horizon Club at the Shangri La in Zhongshan. Fine old city, great service and a maginificent price. Enjoy!!!
