This week's print edition of your magazine Beijing City Weekend featured a shamefully pro-fur piece on David Ubl, a China-based fur designer. http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/articles/mag-bj/ditl/beijings-fashionable-furrier/#comment_79128 Next to the print edition CW WRITES: "PETA might not be happy with [furrier] David's work, but we admire his talent for making people look great (and slim!) in fur. We're looking forward to cruising through the next Beijing winter in one of David's coats. Check them out at davdubl.com and tell us what you think." Fur is a barbaric industry, and as a reader of city Weekend, I strongly protest this. The dog you see in my profile pictures was in a cage at a Shandong fur farm.

I heard about the book "Niubi" years ago, from a guy who told me it was out of print and couldn't be found. Whether I win the contest or not, I'll want to buy a few copies. Where can I get it?

For those looking to eat in subtle style, Luce Café on Jiugulou Dajie is the place where Euro-cool reigns and prices won’t empty your wallet. From the deliciously tempting house red to the pastas prepared just so, Luce provides a modern dining experience heavy on quality and low on bells and whistles. On weekend nights live dj and music sets add a dash of funk to the laid-back ambience.
