Just to be a bit more precise. When we arrived and wanted to sit at a given table we were told its reserved and were placed at a table we didn’t like. After ordering some appetizers and main meal the main meal was - Kassler - served first. Meat was cold. When asking to head it up it took 15 minutes. It came back, still cold but was a loop warm dark sauce sauce :-( After a while we asked where e the appetizers are, oh, sorry forgot to pass on the order. Second beer was most likely collection of drops (Tropfbier). Left it on the table after the first zip. Overall - decided not to come back anymore nor to recommend. When leaving, the table we asked for at the beginning was still empty, like the entire restaurant.
I actually really enjoyed the classes that I took here. I signed up for a group class. My teacher was really chill and I was able to learn a lot of mandarin from him. His English was very good and we often talked about daily life not just studying all the time so I appreciated that. I thought the book that they used for study purposes suited me really well. It was simple and easy to follow unlike some of the other mandarin books I've seen before. I studied last year and I got up to the intermediate level. The only thing I would have liked was to have more homework. I don't think the homework was enough. Good Location, Friendly staff and Good materials.
Very authentic Vietnamese pho, the first Vietnamese restaurant that I have tried in Beijing that does not use MSG. My friends and I are fans of Vietnamese food and we have tried most of the establishments in Beijing, most of the time we felt very thristy after ate. MINT has a wide variety of fresh and deep fried spring roll. The deep fried spring roll and the shrimp cakes are must try. Service was good though they were rather busy during dining hours.
. Same as the first time, the overall experience was absolutely fantastic. We had the boiled beef carpaccio and the special Austrian dumplings. Both dishes were very tasty, the boiled beef carpaccio had a very good taste especially the pumpkin seed oil was mind blowing. Very nice combination of the special Austrian dumplings and the brown butter with the sour salad. At first I thought that it will be too greasy, but it wasn't greasy at all. The sourness of the salad is a very good balance. Next dish was the Tafelspitz, that we had to try since the restaurant is named after that dish. What can I say, except that I can highly recommend it to everyone. The meat super tender without falling apart, nice crispy potatoes, perfectly matching horseradish sauce and spinach. But the soup afterwards was to die for. As desert we decided to try the special Austrian let me call it mountain. Fluffy like a soufflé, nicely served in a white bowl, professionally served table side by a very friendly waitress. Ice cream and strawberries were delicious as well. Congratulation to the head chef and the restaurant manager for this great evening, we will sure come again
Completely unsafe. They had a death in a few years ago from a bad belay. They still haven't improved. I saw twice a staff belayer tying in a climber with an overhand knot instead of a figure eight. When confronted they have no humility and will argue. I've climbed for over twenty years all over the States Rifle, ORG, Yosemite, etc.... And I've never witnessed such dangerous practices and attitude. http://www.thebeijinger.com/forum/2007/06/14/death-ritan-park
