Throwing some of Beijing's earliest hip-hop parties, this dance club perfected the booty grind, hook up formula. The well-connected ownership draws in a hipper Chinese crowd, but doesn't stray too far from the tried and true. With two separate rooms and dance floors, Vics is one of the largest and most impressive clubs in the capital.

Owned and operated by China’s quintessential electronic music record label - Acupuncture Records - this dance club is located in Beijing's nightlife epicenter, Sanlitun. The basement venue is minimalist in design, with 2 bars offering signature cocktails and fair priced beers, lavish lounge space, plenty of dance floor, and is fully equipped with killer sound. The weekend nights feature the most original innovative house and techno Beijing has to offer including high caliber acts from all over the world; other nights switch through a range of different music styles including Electro, Retro Dance, Drum'n Bass and Dub. Lantern also acts as a core multi-media art center in the city, focused on enriching China’s electronic music culture; hosting a series of DJ and VJ workshops, open decks sessions for newbies, and record release parties.

Designed, financed and managed by Beijing DJs and electronic musicians, this subterranean puts music first. The booming techno beats make even dance music skeptics weak in the knees.
