They were there for us for the best part of 1,445 days... 2003? Hmm... we don't exactly remember when, but here we go. They're now dismantling those signs.
There was a slight bit of Chinglish in them: there was no real unifier in as to how they'd start the wording of the first bit. "From the Opening Ceremony" or "Until the Opening Ceremony"? No real idea...
Oh well. They were great while they lasted. Snap a few photos of them if you can -- they'll be gone for good in 10 full days.
Until we get the Olympics again. Hopefully, before 8002...
