Recently opened, and a most welcome addition to local Middle Eastern cuisine, Shami House does it better than most, serving up creamy hummous and baba ganoush, as well as tangy tabouleh salads, and succulent lamb in fresh-based pita bread. Judging by the number of regular Middle Eastern customers, and the contented looks on their faces, it's a safe bet that this is the real deal. Some of these dishes seem too beautiful to eat -- and they're just as delicious as they look. Daily buffet available.
