while admittedly not the most authentic Chao Zhou restaurant, it is perhaps one that you will like the most. Bai Shi Jia alters traditional Chao Zhou recipes slightly, toning down the saltiness to make it more palatable to non-native Chao Zhou diners. This is a great introduction to Chao Zhou cuisine. Recommended are the fen guo dumplings, an excellent dim sum treat. The lu wei basted duck liver with fried tofu is also wonderful. As with nearly all Cho Zhou restaurants, there is no menu. You simply point and choose from the dishes and ice-packed seafood on the first floor.
