Located in Tian He's artist enclave of Shuiyin Lu, Do Mi So (as in "do rei mi fa so") is a side project run by a musician from the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. The DJ, who is most definitely not from the Symphony Orchestra, mixes up some good beats to get people on the small dance floor – but mostly it's a late night affair. Earlier in the evening, the bar is popular with KTV fans, as there are some nice private karaoke rooms in the back. It also draws a techie crowd, who come with laptop in hand to surf the wireless connection and interact with intelligent life forms. Singles nights held once a month.
