you'll need a treasure map and someone who speaks very good Chinese to be able to find this bar – or a mobile phone and a very patient taxi driver. But once there, you'll find a small bar popular with students from the adjacent Ji Nan university, and a décor that could be straight out Yang Shuo's West Street. If you want to go somewhere off the beaten path, you can't do any better than this. Occasional art performances held on the "stage," and always a lot of interesting conversation. Look out for their new, hopefully easier to find, location opening soon on the Pearl River – thus the name will finally make sense, as the present location is landlocked.
