I tried both 'mat classes' and 'reformer classes' there, and they were not cheap: at least 560 yuan per class (one hour) for a private class, and to me it wasn't worth the money at all! The studio owner was only friendly and supportive towards people who spend a lot of money on the different classes. So it's very snobby and cliquey, and that made it hard to enjoy the classes. There were a few foreign teachers in the studio but they seemed unhappy working there, and the atmosphere was tense and unsettled. Not recommended.
I stayed in GZ for four days for busines. Amongst other things I discovered this small little jewel at the canton place. Bocca is just the perfect restaurant to enjoy a wonderful lunch (and probably dinner) in a quiet and sophisticated setting. we ordered various appetizers together with a white house wine. It was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and speaks a good english (unlike in other places!). I highly recommend it.
I stumbled upon this bar through friends who hang out there regularly. The bar was super crowded and the amtosphere explosive! The music was great (reminded me of the good old times). Cheap drinks and basic foods (pizza, burger, pasta) are available and even really tasty. I would say its a really good place to get to know people!
