The entire podcast playlist of the 2008 Shanghai International Literary Festival. Listen in or download to your iPod

Here it is, the entire playlist of all the talks at the SILF (in the Glamour Bar) that we could record. Now you can easily listen to or download them all for your iPod listening pleasure. We marked some the podcasts that we thought were particularly good, but feel free to challenge us or listen to them all. Again, we want to thank Tom Lee Pettersen at [Meta Music Media](http://www.metamusicmedia.com) for his sound engineering and recording time. We also want to thank the entire SILF team for another great festival. Below is a chronological list of all talks. Click on any one talk to hear each session or to download each as a podcast. Feel free to leave comments or contact us for questions. Enjoy! ###Weekend One - **EDITOR'S PICK** Shadows of the Silk Road, [Colin Thurbon](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-colin-thubron-shadows-of-the-silk-road-a-7000-mile-journey) - Irresistible shift of global power to the east, [Kishore Mahbubani](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-kishore-mahbubani-the-new-asian-hemisphere-the-irresistable-shift-of-global-power-to-the-east) - Perspectives on China, [Peter French, David Hewitt and Kerry Brown](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-peter-french-david-hewitt-and-kerry-brown-perspectives-on-china-today) - **EDITOR'S PICK** Writing about wine, [Jancis Robinson](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-jancis-robinson-writing-about-wine-impossible-or-imprudent) - The origins of longitude, [Dava Sobel](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-dava-sobel-paper-planets-at-the-shanghai-international-book-festival) - The Flemings, [Paul French](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-at-the-shanghai-international-book-festival-starting-with-paul-frenchs-talk-on-peter-fleming) - Shanghai Style, [Lynn Pann](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/lynn-pann) - For a complete index of CW's coverage of SILF (we couldn't podcast them all, as some took place in a room w/out sound recording), click [here](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/) ###Weekend Two at SILF - **EDITOR'S PICK** India in the World with [Arundhati Roy and Pankaj Mishra](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-arundhati-roy-andpankaj-mishra-india-in-the-world-arundhati-roy-in-coversation-with-pankaj-mishra/) - Post Colonial Pro-Fusion with [Desmond Sim](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-desmond-sim-post-colonial-pro-fusion-fusion-english-language-theatres-chinese-diaspora-southeast-asia/) - **EDITOR'S PICK** Hope and Courage in Pakistan with [Fatima Bhutto](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/fatima-bhutto-in-coversation-with-geoff-dyer-hope-and-courage-in-pakistan/) - America's First Presidential Election with [Ed Larson](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/ed-larson-a-magnificent-catastrophe-the-turmultutous-election-of-1800-americas-first-presidental-election/) - On East Germany with [Anna Funder](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/podcast-talk-anna-funder-east-germanyf/) - **EDITOR'S PICK** Crossing the Gap: Asia and the Australian Imagination with [Christopher Koch](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-christopher-koch-crossing-the-gap-asia-and-the-australian-imagination/) - For a complete index of CW's coverage of SILF (we couldn't podcast them all, as some took place in a room w/out sound recording), click [here](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/) ###Weekend Three at SILF - The Forbidden City with [Geremie Barme](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-geremie-barme-book-launch-forbidden-city/) - **EDITOR'S PICK** Book Launch: Wolf Totem [Howard Goldblatt](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-howard-goldblatt-book-launch-wolf-totem/) - **EDITOR'S PICK** The Man Booker Prize Talk with [Anne Enright](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-anne-enright-man-booker-prize-talk/) - China Road: A Journey into the Future of a Rising Power with [Rob Gifford](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-blogging-with-rob-gifford-china-road-a-journey-into-the-future-of-a-rising-power/) - China’s First Feminist: Yu Xuanji and the Tang Dynasty with [Justin Hill](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-bloggingwith-justin-hillchinas-first-feminist-yu-xuanji-and-the-tang-dynasty/) - My Revolutions with [Hari Kunzru](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/live-bloging-with-hari-kunzru-my-revolutions/) - For a complete index of CW's coverage of SILF (we couldn't podcast them all, as some took place in a room w/out sound recording), click [here](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/)
