The results for Michelin Guide Shanghai 2017 were announced in a press conference today. Overall 26 of Shanghai's finest F&B venues were awarded the highly coveted Michelin stars, along with 25 Bib Gourmands.
In attendance, we saw Paul Pairet (Ultraviolet, Mr & Mrs Bund), Tony Lu (Fu He Hui, Fu 1088), Stefan Stiller and Jeno Racz (Taian Table), Riccardo La Perna (8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA), Terrence Crandall, Tang Chi Keung and Hans Zahner (The Peninsula Shanghai), chefs from Da Dong and others.
Since Michelin announced the launch of a guide for Shanghai last May, the city has been abuzz with forecasts and predictions of who will be awarded the coveted Michelin stars.

The Michelin Guide Shanghai 2017 awarded 1 restaurant 3 Michelin stars, 7 restaurants 2 Michelin stars, and 18 restaurants 1 Michelin star.
