BU Club, also known as Brother Union, is due to open in July. It’s the latest nightlife spot by the Muse Group, founded by some of their top tier investors.
BU Club takes on a lounge vibe rather than full-on nightclub. The 1,600sqm space is decked out with leather armchairs and couches, and there are pool tables on both sides of the room. If there’s anything memorable about the venue it’s the suits of armor they’ve got in front of the bar.
Further in the back, they have a semi-private dining room, surrounding by glass shelves neatly stacked with bottles of whisky that add to the club’s gold color scheme—which ties into the bar's focus on single malts.
The long bar is impressive in size and is well stocked with the premium stuff. Luminary mixologist Eddy Yang (Tailor Bar) and his team also worked on the cocktails, designing a menu of 26 drinks. Like all nightclubs of this size, BU Club has private rooms, also equipped for KTV. And to top it off, they also serve a full menu of contemporary Chinese food.
We’re still waiting to hear confirmation if this will continue to be a members-only space. For now, it’s strictly private until after the official opening.
