From September 9 - 15

The dates for this year's Shanghai's Tourism Festival has been announced and as always, will coincide with Golden Week, running from September 9 to October 6.

As part of this yearly extravaganza, 64 tourist spots across the city will be offering half-price tickets between September 9 and 15.

Included in the list are iconic buildings like the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center; museums like the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and the Shanghai Natural History Museum; parks like the Shanghai Wildlife Park, Century Park, and the Chenshan Botanical Garden, you get the drift.

Some venues are only offering half-price discounts on adult tickets, while others extend the deal to children and seniors. Click here for more details and for the full list of participating venues. Unfortunately, the post is in Chinese, but you can expect most major scenic spots to be participating.
