Plus-Sized Pumps: Larger Shoes for Larger Feet

Laowai-sized kicks to the rescue

One of the biggest hassles about being an expat in China is that you can suddenly go from being a fairly inoffensive size to being considered a giant, and can’t always find clothes and shoes that fit your enormous foreign self.

Many of us have tried to overcome this plight by ordering products online from our favorite shops back home, only to have a pair of super cute pumps arrive the day before the ball and be one size too small.

You can now get your laowai-sized kicks quickly and efficiently at Castle Hawk, an online shopping platform that delivers clothes from foreign brands like ASOS, Zara and many more, as well as upscale and designer brands like Prada, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. Items are shipped to addresses all around mainland China from a central warehouse in Shenzhen (pictured at top), so you can avoid the complications of ordering internationally.

Like almost everything in China, Castle Hawk is easily accessible from their WeChat store. Live chat with them there for some free fashion advice, or browse their WeChat store for all their products. They offer a 4-5 day delivery for all their stock, but it will take longer and cost more for items that need to be ordered from abroad. No matter the location though, deliveries are free. If you’re in dire need of clothes and shoes that fit, it’s worth a try.
