Ganwu: Sensing the Material is a group exhibition featuring nine Chinese artists and designers that incorporate Chinese aesthetics into their works. Emphasizing human experiences through their created work, the Song dynasty painting "Six Persimmons" by Mu Xi is used as a source of inspiration. The work in this exhibition deals heavily with the idea of “ganwu” how the creator becomes equal to the objects being depicted, and how he or she co-exists with them.
