Murder on the Orient Express

Kenneth Branagh does double duty as director of the fourth adaptation of this Agatha Christie novel of the same name and as main character, detective Hercule Poirot. Set in the 1930s, a group of strangers become entrapped in a real life game of “whodunit” while traveling on a Eurasia train when passenger Samuel Ratchett (Johnny Depp) is found murdered.  With the train halted on a mountaintop and nowhere to go, the detective gets to work, investigating those on board. Secrets unravel as nearly everyone has a mysterious past, and quite possibly, a reason to kill. Can the detective find the culprit before murder strikes again? Penelope Cruz and Michelle Pfeiffer co-star. What to expect: An updated murder mystery classic.
