Gospel South African style, Chinese bamboo flute and circus time

Kooza cirque du soleil in shanghai.

  Kooza Cirque Du Soleil
First premiering in Montreal Canada in 2007, Kooza is a touring circus production that has over the years become known for its impeccable stage production from acrobatics, to costuming, lighting and everything in between. Inspired by the word “Koza” which means box or treasure chest in sanskrit, the show follows The Innocent through an alternative world where he comes face-to-face with many comedic characters, good and bad on a journey to self-discovery. The ringleader in this twisted paradise of sorts is The Trickster, and just like his name suggests, this figure serves as a foil in an otherwise harmonious trip. Here, the clown, who is usually relegated to the part of comic relief, is the star of the show, taking viewers on an exciting and colorful journey that explores themes of identity, fear and power.
