New York-based street artist Brolga will be in Shanghai for a one-time appearance, painting a street mural at Joe's Pizza. The Australian-born artist was inspired by his home country's landscapes and started creating naïve daydream-like doodles and imaginative characters that he is now internationally known for. His work has been exhibited in the World Trade Centre in New York City and has been featured in the New York Times, CNN, and Sports Illustrated.

This Grammy Award-winning group of Tuareg musicians was formed in 1979 and started to gain international fame with their album Aman Iman in 2007. Called “rock ‘n roll rebels” and "music’s true rebels," they have performed everywhere from Mali to Denmark. Taking inspiration from Berber music, Morocco and Egypt, the primarily guitar-driven rockers are coming to Shanghai on Wednesday. Get ready for the soul of the Sahara. Their performance kicks off at 8pm, tickets TBA.

Vurro is a shirtless, cow skull-wearing one-man band. Getting his start as Vurro on YouTube last year, the mysterious Spaniard has played at festivals such as FloydFest and Quest Festival, now he is heading to Shanghai. Known for his get-up, wild, raw rhythmed, and blues music, this musician is a refreshing new talent in the underground scene. RMB50 pre-sale, RMB70 at the door.

Bristol-based DJ Sam Binga makes his Shanghai debut this Friday at Club ALL. By bringing dance floor pressure with his unique clash of jungle, grime, footwork, juke and drum n bass, he has made a name for himself in the dance music scene. A fully-fledged member of the Critical Music tribe, expect his own productions, described as "slithering melodies, dub-heavy grime, and dub-step sounds" to slip into the mix. Kick off 11pm, cover RMB100.
