It’s time to get your creative juices flowing and there’s no better way than a drink and draw. Roxie is hosting a “You Paint, We Pour” event. From 6pm-9pm, buy one get one free beer/ house wine/ house spirits. Art packs will be available to be purchase or bring your own. Every third Monday of the month.

Say Yes is celebrating their 2-year birthday with Sigha at Elevator. Sigha is one of the key figures to emerge from the newly resurgent UK techno scene. He has had releases on James Ruskin's Blueprint Label, Hotflush Recordings and remixes for CLR, Perc Trax, Mikrowave, Echocord and Token. He is a huge supporter of vinyl, blending traditional sounds with a deep and unique take on new sound designs. MIIIA, DJ Doggy and DJ 10000 will also be there for support. Noise In My Head (Michael Kucyk) is coming through Smash to perform. He is claimed to be one of Australia's most respected DJs, radio hosts and selectors. His DJ sets switch between house, disco, breakbeat, jungle, synth as well as releases that seem to be missed by diggers. Come out and enjoy a night full of big tunes and extensive record collections.

 

 

12 Inches of Fun

California bred, Seoul based Aaron Choe aka DJ Airbear is one of the driving forces of the creative scene in Seoul. He DJs as Airbear, collaborates with Vice, writes about music and the Seoul scene for Electronic Beats, started Seoul record store Clique and is currently working on his music label XXX. As relentless as he is working on developing the local scene, he is as a record digger: Airbear shines as a selector of rare dance music. His craft shines in the mixes he did for Amsterdam's Red Light Radio or the Sanpo Disco Podcast.

7th Shanghai Craft Beer Festival

The 2017 Shanghai Craft Beer Festival is back and better than ever for the seventh year in a row. This year’s festivities will take place in the heart of the city at the Shanghai Jing An Kerry Centre. With over 30 craft beer brands from Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong and America, beer is sure to be flowing all weekend long. Gourmet food vendors will be there to drum up tasty options to pair with, and live music and DJ lineups will keep the energy up all day. The event takes place on Saturday, July 22 from 12pm to 11pm and Sunday, July 23 from 12pm to 9pm. Entrance fee is RMB50 and includes a free drink.

Shanghai Tattoo and Hot Box are teaming up to bring you "Spice Off," a spicy eating competition, held on the rooftop at Shanghai Tattoo. There will be prizes to be won from Shanghai Tattoo, Hot Box, Monster Energy and Operation Chiin Chilla. There will also be BBQ from Bulldog Bar-B-Q, music from The Hippo Tank, drink and beer specials with Brew Dog and Kaiba Beer and more. It's not a real spicy competition unless someone throws up, right? Competition starts at 5pm. Bring your own milk. They'll adjourn to the Hop Project for an after party—happy hour deals for folks wearing Spice Off t-shirts.
