China’s first sex shop comedy, Red Light Revolution,
recently completed a screening tour in Shanghai. Now the controversial and hilarious film is available to all of China.
After its premier on Tudou today, it received good feedback from Chinese netizens. Most think it’s “humorous and unique.” One Weibo user named “fengli” commented, “the story is interesting and true to life.” Another Weibo user “ denny” raised a question: “Since it’s available on major cinemas in England, why is it only available on Tudou in China? Because of the cultural difference?”
