Jerking Around
More than one eyebrow was raised when I send out the SMS to meet up at Uncle Mike's Jamaican restaurant last night; perhaps for the same reason we want to kick every middle-class white kid with dreads ass.
A few more dropped out as it was 'in f*ckin Pudong!' but I can honestly say it's worth it - some serious jerk chicken, 'rasta rice' and ginger beer all under 50rmb (for everything!). Owner promised us that he was 'getting Red Stripe soon', which makes this our new favorite place....even if it is in 'PuJersey'.

Awesome, glad to hear you liked the place. Ironically, we're checking this one out for next issue. Heard several people say the jerk chicken is really good.
