How many times have you made a reservation for dinner and forgotten to write down the address? Those of us who lack the gift of organisation will be all too familiar with the last minute scramble of trying to find crossroads, street numbers and phone numbers.

If you've made one too many last-minute phone calls to the Shanghai Call Center or annoyed your friends countlessly by showing up late to dinner, then City Weekend is here to make your life a little more trouble free with our new SMS listing function.

You may have noticed that our site has been revamped and we've added a few extra features that we're pretty proud of. As well as being able to call venues for free online, you can now SMS listing information straight to your phone.

City Weekend SMS FAQ...

What is this new SMS service?
The new City Weekend SMS service is a new feature that sends you listing information, for free, about businesses you find on the website. You'll notice a little green SMS icon next to a business when it is available. It looks like this:

How do I use it?
When you click on the listing, you'll see these buttons:

When you see "SMS Listing to Your Mobile", click on it and you'll be asked to enter your own phone number. Enter it and hit send. When you send it, City Weekend will send the listing details instantaneously via SMS.

How much does it cost?
RMB0, $0 and £0. Basically, it's free! City Weekend pays the bill for all messages. Both local and long-distance.

Which venues can send their information?
The SMS listing information is currently available to selected highly buzzed venues and businesses. We're still in the early stages with this service, but you can expect it to grow really soon.

Uh, what does highly buzzed mean?
Each venue listed on our website is ranked by Buzz (see the little yellow guys on the above listing?). It's unique to City Weekend. Buzz is basically a measure of popularity. Depending on various factors (most important being clicks, editor rating, and comments), a venue acquires a Buzz level.

This means that City Weekend is now your one stop shop . Read reviews, head to the directory listing, call the venue for free to make a reservation and then SMS the address information straight to your phone.

City Weekend is keeping you organized. What do you think City Weekenders? Do you love our new service? Are there any more questions brewing in your mind that need to be answered? Hit us up below.
