With a title like "ChinaBounder" in it, it's gotta be good. However, this press release turns out to be nothing more than a crafty book announcement (probably by none other than the author of the blog Chinabounder) that excoriates China for having failed to address the number of concerns its faces as it moves into the 21st century. Read at your own peril.

The Danwei article on this mentioned the book having a deal with Random House in Japan, but I haven't seen it anywhere else including the UK Guardian write up. Any info - did he mention it in the mail to CW? The Guardian write up also says that David Marriott confirmed to them that he was the sole author of Chinabounder before. It's a bit old now, maybe we could start a rumour that Marriott is also nanheyangrouchuan.
