Spot and Peter are on their way to the Shanghai International Literary Festival
[Puff] (http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/articles/blogs-shanghai/shanghai-book-club/puffs-gone-poof/) may have gone, um...well, he may have disappeared, but I've got another kiddie event for those of you who wish to bring your little ones to the upcoming [Shanghai International Literary Festival] (http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/events/community/silf/?). The festival is doing a reading of beloved books with Spot and Peter Rabbit during a special [story hour] (http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/events/19572/) on March 2. Most of us own a set of the popular and beautifully illustrated books by Beatrix Potter (they now come in Chinese too, did you know?) and Spot, the little curious puppy, has entertained many-a-child with his interactive lift-the-flap books.
This event may not provoke you to hum any particular songs (and if someone knows of songs to Peter Rabbit and Spot, do share), but a lazy Sunday morning with your kiddos listening to classic tales and fun stories? Go on. Get your [tickets] (http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/events/18996/) now.
