A Hoppy Easter

This past Sunday was filled with glorious sunshine--and a lot of Easter eggs. City Weekend teamed up with Kidtown and threw an Easter party fit for the, well, bunnies, who hopped and hunted for treats of all kinds. First, the kids showed off their creativity in making bunny ears (I have never seen a more colorful group of rabbits). Then, clad in their new identities, they embarked on a basket and egg race. Following that, there was, of course, the quintessential Easter egg hunt. Kids (and parents) raced around Kidtown's makeshift "town", looking for eggs in the supermarket, the fire station, the beauty parlor...I found some inside the mailbox! Everyone had a blast and went home with a goodie bag filled with toys, stickers and of course, chocolate.

Take a peek at the fun we had and stayed tuned for more CW & Kidtown events. What's next? Well, it's ice cream season soon...

Special thanks go out to our Family Matters columnist Kathy, to Tina and the rest of the amazing staff at Kidtown and to baby paparazzo Don Yap for capturing the chocolatey fun.

Curious... how many colourful (note the "U") rabbits have you ever seen in the first place? I only ever see grey or brown.

Anyway, looking forward to the ice cream pics! Yum!
